Readings one and only
Costume Design Workshops!

We will be organising costume making workshops for the 31st
Reading Carnival commencing March 2008, and continuing each Thursday in the weeks
leading up to Carnival. If you would like to join the
workshops please let us know, as places are limited.

These workshops are free of charge so all you need to bring with
you is your imagination!! The basic materials will be
provided for you. We want this years’ Carnival Procession
to fill the streets of Reading with colour and creativity!

The workshops will be led by Philbert, who has worked in this
industry for the last 20 years. He has made
costumes for the Trinidad Carnival (which he attends every year)
and also the Notting Hill Carnival. Some of his work was
recently displayed at the Reading
Museum. This will be a fantastic class!
